Haven & Key CPA LLP was founded by two longtime colleagues and friends, Armine Hakobyan, CPA, and Arlet Keshishian, CPA, who share a commitment to making tax work clearer, calmer, and more modern for the people they serve.

Armine and Arlet began their careers together at KPMG LLP, where they worked with high-net-worth individuals and a wide range of business entities. Both earned their CPA licenses early in their careers, setting a foundation of discipline and technical strength that has shaped their work ever since.

Their paths continued in parallel as they each joined the tax department at Warner Bros., contributing to a dynamic, fast-moving environment within one of the world's leading entertainment companies. During this time, Armine expanded her expertise further by serving as a Tax Manager at Farmers Insurance, where she oversaw tax compliance and provision for the Management Companies - experience that deepened her understanding of complex corporate structures and strengthened her process-driven approach.

Arlet remained a key member of the Warner Bros. tax team for nearly a decade, developing a reputation for analytical depth, reliability, and an ability to bring structure to complexity. Her work spanned tax compliance, business initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions, giving her a broad view of how tax intersects with major business decisions.

Their professional journeys converged again at IBISWorld Inc., where they managed multinational tax operations and refined a shared belief: that exceptional client service comes from pairing deep expertise with empathy, organization, and modern workflows that reduce friction and build trust.
